If anyone is interested, I am attempting to create some characters from Saiunkoku Monogatari. There does not seem to be any on the web that I can find. I've only created one so far.

This is namae_nashi, your new tori_shishi-mod speaking - nice to meet you all. ♥ *takes a deep bow*

Henceforth it shall be my sacred duty to take care of the comm's maintenance and ensure things keep on running smoothly (but seeing just how amazingly well the comm has practically been organizing itself until now, I highly doubt there will be much need for me butting in ;D).

Anyway, since I'm still woefully new to this whole "maintain a LJ-comm"-business, lovely aohatsu's agreed to stick around and offer her support whenever the need arises (and she hopefully will slap my fingers whenever I'm about to screw something up royally), so in case you have any questions, suggestions or just wanna complain about what a lousy job I'm doing, feel free to drop her a line anytime.

So with that being said...
Is there actually anything that's going to change now that the baton's been passed on?

Well, yes and no.

For one thing, the comm's of course going to stay the wonderful treasure trove of Silver Pair fiction and art that it has come to be over the years and I certainly don't intend to introduce any new rules or posting-restrictions in the foreseeable future.

On the other hand, however, there are quite a number things in dire need of an overhaul.

The most obvious being the current lack of a proper and pretty community layout.
So if anyone out there is feeling generous and inspired enough to create a new one, please let me know (otherwise you're going to have to live with whatever I'm going to brew up as soon as the holiday/New Years-buzz is over. And yes, that was a warning!).

Furthermore, I'd also like to revamp the community-profile.
Again, if you happen to have some spiffy ideas regarding the layout or introduction text, don't hesitate to contribute.

Other changes that have already been put into action are the following:

TAGS!
Past entries have finally been fully tagged all the way back to 2004 and can now be conveniently browsed via the tags page.
The memories will be tackled sometime next year.

PURGED ARCHIVES
In order to keep the comm's content neat and tidy, posts containing dead links or outdated content (i.e. old doujinshi sales posts) have been deleted. I did my best to track down and provide alternate links to stories/pictures whenever possible. All remaining content should be working and accessible - if you happen to spot a broken link somewhere, yell at me.

Uhm... Anything else? *scratches head*

Hm~ Considering this post is most probably TL;DR anyway, I'll better leave it at that. BUT I'LL BE BACK! MUHARHAR~ *cackles manically*
